Blogger is slogging

Adam Penenberg at Wired reports on widespread complaints about the performance and reliability of Google's Blogger service.

Scott Johnson (VP at Feedster) claims that the problem is weblog spam and that Google should focus their effort on eliminating all the bogus weblogs.

Hi Greg,

Well I don't say that they aren't having some software development issues, but that at least a big part of it is purely load related. And they can actually address that pretty easily with what I described.

Thanks, Scott. I'm sure you're right. It's clear that weblog spam is a huge problem on Blogger.
