Hi I didnt understand the geeky Mathematica solutions that were offered.
However I solved two of the problems on my own. In amateurish ways though.

Actually, I found the answers in a forum on Joel on Software. The dates were right around when the bilboard first came out. Didn't get the answers to the GLAT though.
